About The Teenage Tutor
Hi! My name is Alex, I am the original Teenage Tutor!
After establishing this business in April 2018, we now have over 40 Year 11 and Sixth Form students working for us by teaching younger students across all subjects from Maths to Latin. We have learnt that kids teaching other kids really works and have some great success stories. Children are able to form a closer working relationship with their tutor as they are of a similar age and the tutors are able to relate to their struggles, having just been in the same situation themselves.
We work on a pay-as-you-go and non-commitment basis which is different from a lot of other tuition companies who require block bookings. This means our timings are flexible which is great for families who are busy with a multitude of after school commitments.
Following my A-Level success in the summer of 2020, I am now at the University of Cambridge studying medicine. So I would love you to meet my new Deputy Head Tutor - Kieran!

Hi, I am Kieran and I am the Deputy Head Tutor at The Teenage Tutor and also Alex's younger brother!
Having attended sixth form at The Judd School in Tonbridge and passing my A-Levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Music. I am now also studying medicine but at Newcastle University. I love playing rugby for both the Uni and local club as Prop. I also play the trumpet and am a 1st dan black belt in karate.
I have been working with Alex since 2020, managing the tutors and the office, and when I can, I still love to tutor a variety of clients from ages 6 to 19!
With Alex and I now away at University, you may find me popping up on e-mails and messages from time to time.

Our Services
The Teenage Tutor is a Sevenoaks based tuition agency with a large team of student tutors who are available to help younger pupils prepare for exams. We offer support in a vast range of subjects for all abilities and ages and we have designed our teaching to help children improve their confidence, as well as academics. Our Facebook page is updated regularly so please have a look at our services and scroll through our posts. We also offer block bookings during school holidays to aid revision or prep for exams such as the common entrance tests. If there is something your son or daughter is struggling with at school, there will be a Teenage Tutor who can help them.
Throughout the year we also offer group classes. We have had great success with a 2 Day GCSE Maths revision course as well as a 2 hour 11+ Exam Technique Workshop that gets booked up months in advance! MEDICAL SCHOOL APPLICATIONS
Both Kieran and I are currently studying to be Doctors here in the UK and are at University studying medicine. I am at the University of Cambridge and Kieran is at Newcastle University. We had different reasons for selecting the university and courses we wanted to study. We know how daunting making an application to study medicine can be which is why we thought we could help!
We have decided to offer mentoring services for Year 12 and 13 students thinking of applying for medicine. These are tailored to your requirements and will cover everything from A-level selection, obtaining work experience, university and course choice, UCAT and BMAT advice and assistance, personal statement help and interview preparation. We see this as a journey, and so this service will be a minimum of five sessions. Each session will be one hour and be fully bespoke to your plans and goals. Each session will cost £50. Please do contact us for further information. We would love to help you achieve your goal of studying medicine just as we have.
